The aim of Project Kia Kaha is to inspire and motivate people in times of adversity and significant challenge. In the interviews, interviewees share their knowledge and their experience in dealing with stress, pressure and maintaining mental wellbeing.
Project Kia Kaha is an initiative started by Dr Matt Bowman and Silvana Brocato in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Realising the challenges that lay ahead and the incredible stress that all New Zealanders were facing they decided to do something positive.
Matt is a senior orthopaedic registrar currently completing his training in orthopaedic surgery. Silvana is a lead UX designer at Pushpay with previous experience working in large companies and start-ups throughout Europe and in Australia.
